Messy Forever — Storyline
Debut directorial effort from Moloy Mukherjee, co-writer of Ashish Avikunthak’s 2007 feature Nirakar Chhaya (Shadows Formlesss). Mukherjee’s film is an urban Kolkata film and placed at the center of it’s intriguing narrative play is a young man interacting with people from, and finding his way through, various class and social locations. There is a focus on conversations around cultural politics and sexual politics in the city.
